Transparent civil society initiative
World of Peace
The emergency aid from World of Peace focuses on providing essential goods to the population in Gaza, including food, water, medical care and emergency shelter. Their food bank supplies over 1,500 families daily, while medical aid is to be expanded with the planned construction of a health center for 18,000 people per month. Winter packages are distributed and educational initiatives such as the construction of schools are also part of the measures. Thanks to the cooperation with the Egyptian Red Crescent, they can ensure aid deliveries despite the difficult conditions.
How do relief supplies get to Gaza?
The World of Peace team loads your donations on site into the vans of the Egyptian Red Crescent, which is one of the few organizations allowed to transport relief supplies across the border to Rafah.
Where are the supplies purchased?
The purchases are currently being made at Qasr Al Ayni in Cairo.
How are the donations mainly used?
World of Peace uses donations primarily to purchase medical supplies and food.
